In the spirit of forging strong partnerships (SDG No. 17) geared towards providing quality education (SDG No. 4) and fostering peace, justice, and strong institutions (SDG No. 16), the University of Baguio School of Criminal Justice and Public Safety (UB – SCJPS) has successfully held its Tripartite Meeting on Operationalizing Networks for Excellent Criminal Justice Education 7.0.
Held every semester, the event is a significant step in assessing and improving the programs offered by the school to its students. By strengthening the bonds between the university and its industry partners, the Tripartite Meeting ensures that the UB SCJPS is able to offer the best student internship opportunities to its students,
In attendance during the meeting were the Baguio City Police Office, Baguio City Jail-Male Dorm, Baguio City Fire Station, Highway Patrol Unit, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group – Cordillera, Women and Children Protection Desk, Regional Human Rights Desk, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15, Regional Forensic Unit – Cordillera, and the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit – Cordillera.
The Tripartite Meeting is only one of the many events held every year that aims to improve and enhance the academic experience of the students of the School of Criminal Justice and Public Safety. Through these programs, the university hopes to continue improving and enhancing the learning environment of the students so that they can make the utmost out of their academic journey.
